The HEPA filter cleans the air nicely, and the low levels of ozone emitted give our home a nice fresh smell. After running the air purifier for a day or so, I find my clothes hanging in the closet smell as if they just came in fresh off the clothesline. That is something that doesn’t come with the air purifiers that don’t give off small levels of ozone.
What should I look for in an air purifier?
The first thing you should look for is that the air purifier has a HEPA filter in it. There are many other styles of filters available, but none remove the allergens as good as a HEPA filter.
Next, check the levels of ozone that your air purifier gives off. A little bit of ozone gives your home an outdoor fresh scent. Too much ozone can be harmful for those with breathing difficulties. If the box doesn’t tell you and the store workers don’t know, do your research online. Read the reviews and consumer studies on the product you are considering buying.
Finally, look for one that suits your lifestyle and cleans your home’s air thoroughly. The box will tell you how large of an area your Ionic Breeze Air Purifier will clean. Buy the one that is right for you.
